Through LiveHealth, you may speak with board-certified doctors and get answers to your health questions without ever stepping foot in a waiting room. It’s faster and easier than scheduling a visit to your primary care physician- all you need is the LiveHealth Online app or a computer with a webcam. The secure and private two-way video chat portal will let you meet with a doctor to go over common health concerns such as a cold, flu, allergies, fevers, infections and more! And if prescriptions are needed, the doctor will send them directly to your drugstore of choice.

The service is fast, easy and can actually save you money! For members of the Smiths Group PPO plan, Smiths Group covers the full cost of LiveHealth Online consultations. If you participate in our Advantage Health HSA plan, federal legislation requires you to still meet your deductible and pay coinsurance, but the average cost of a LiveHealth Online consultation is only $49. Regardless of which plan you participate in, you will spend less when compared to a doctor’s office visit. For life-threatening illness or injury you should always head to the ER.
