If you’re a new Smiths employee, you can review your options and select your plans.
Marriage, kids, jobs, your residence — if these or other aspects of your life have changed, you can elect new benefits.
If you’re a continuing Smiths Group employee, you can renew or update your benefits once a year, during open enrollment. Open enrollment is now closed and will open in June 2025.

Smiths Group provides basic life coverage for all eligible employees equal to
1x eligible wages.
When an accident or illness keeps you from working for an extended period of time, it is important to have a continuing source of income. That is why Smiths Group offers you long-term disability coverage, insured by Prudential and designed to replace a portion of your income if you cannot work. You elect the coverage and pay the premiums, but the benefits are not taxable.
View Long-Term DisabilityYou may contribute to the Smiths Group Incentive Savings Plan 401(k) Plan and receive matching contributions from the Company. Unless part of a legacy agreement, the Company will match 50% on the first 6% of your basic pre-tax contributions each pay period. You do NOT receive a Company match any other contributions you make.
View 401(k)You may save money on health care and/or dependent care expenses by enrolling in a before-tax Health Savings Account and/or Flexible Spending Account. Your FSA contributions will not renew automatically. You must re-enroll in your FSA(s) and elect contributions within 30 days of hire or during Open Enrollment each year.
