ACCESSING THE NEW HSA
Below is a screenshot of our system https://benefitsassist.wealthcareportal.com/ showing our logo.
You can also download the app ‘BenefitsAssist Mobile’ on the Apple App Store or Google Play. Click ‘Register’ to create your userid and password. If it prompts you for an Employee ID please email flex@benefitsassist.net.
CARDS
Cards were mailed on August 6, 2025 and will have BenefitsAssist as the return address. On the back of the card at the bottom you will see our name and contact number.
NEW DEPOSITS
New deposits should post to the new HSA account soon.
ACCESSING THE PRIOR HSA
The prior vendor also used the WealthCare system. You should have received an email or mailed letter notifying you that they are changing the old HSA to a ‘retail’ account. The website to view the old HSA is https://wealthcare.com/ and the phone number is (866) 287-2520. Follow the Login link at the upper right to register to view the old HSA. You will likely also be receiving a card for the old HSA.
TRANSFER OF FUNDS
Transfers are not automatic. Once you log into the new account use the transfer link at the bottom to transfer funds. You can also go directly to https://wealthcaresaver.com/transfer. Select ‘Other’. The top section refers to the new HSA. The bottom section is the prior vendor – their phone number is (866) 287-2520 and their address is 280 Congress Street, Suite 1005, Boston, MA 02210.
The HSA account number is on the portal homepage upon login. There is a partial account number listed and by hovering over the ‘eye’ symbol you will see the full number. If you are transferring the entire balance you must move any investments to the cash portion. Transfers take 1-7 business days.

Announcement from US Benefits Department:
Employees transferring their HSA funds from the old account to the new will receive a $25 transfer fee from the old administrator. In order for the company to cover this fee, Smiths will offer a one-time $25 reduction on the medical deductions. Employees do not need to do anything to initiate this.
Company HSA contributions will be processed in either late August or early September.
